FMMD is excited to pursue construction of a 1.15 Mile new segment of the Master Planned Fountain Mutual Trail system. This section of proposed trail corridor follows the western bank of the existing Fountain Mutual Ditch between Widefield Community Park and Janitell Junior High School. This section of proposed trail is identified as part of Reach E in the Fountain Mutual Trail Concept Plan Update.
The Fountain Mutual Ditch will continue to be owned and maintained by the Fountain Mutual Irrigation Company with operations and management overseen by Kirk Medina. Please direct questions or comments related to the Fountain Mutual Ditch operations and maintenance to him. The Fountain Mutual Metropolitan District will be responsible for the trail. The Fountain Mutual Metropolitan District is managed by Balanced Management Services Company.
